The Payouts tab is where you can review your payout history, update your payout method, and manage tax settings.
How to find the Payouts tab
- On desktop: Hover over Host Dashboard on the top right of the screen and select Payouts.
- On mobile: Tap the menu in the top left corner, then tap Host Dashboard, then tap Payouts.
Payout History
This is the default view when you open the tab.
Here’s what you’ll see:
- A list of payouts in reverse chronological order (most recent first).
- Each payout shows the date it was issued.
- Click on a payout date to see the breakdown, including:
- Bookings included in the payout
- Host earnings
- Taxes (collected or remitted by you)
- Transferred amount (Host Earnings + Taxes Remitted by Host)
Filtering payouts
- Use the date picker to filter by custom ranges (e.g. last month, last year).
- Click Clear to reset to the full list.
- Pending or future bookings will not appear here until a payout is processed.
Note: Payouts will only show on the Payout History tab once they have been issued. Payment for bookings that are in the future or have not checked out will not yet show on the history tab.
Downloading CSV file of payouts
- You can create a customized download using the date picker mentioned above
- If you do not select a date range, the download will include all past payouts
- Click the button that says Download CSV
Manage payouts and taxes
To navigate to the Manage payouts and taxes tab, click the link on the top lefthand side of the page:
In this tab, you can:
Enter or update your payout method:
- Most Hosts are paid by direct deposit via Stripe.
- US Hosts can also choose to be paid via PayPal.
- You can create, edit, and update your payout method at any time.
Manage tax settings:
You are able to see whether Hipcamp collects and remits any taxes for your Property, and choose to collect and remit additional tax.
If Hipcamp isn’t collecting any tax, you will see the below:
If Hipcamp is collecting tax, you will see a message similar to the one below (with information relevant to your state or county):
