Yes—when a camper books your property through Hipcamp, you’ll still be able to reach them just like you would with a direct booking.
When we place a booking on your behalf, we include all the important information you need, including:
- The camper’s name
- Dates of their stay
- Group size and number of vehicles
- An email address and phone number you can use to reach them
The contact information we provide routes through Hipcamp to protect camper privacy, but your messages will still reach the camper like normal—and they can contact you too.
That said, we recommend reaching out to Hipcamp Support first if you need to make changes to a booking—such as a cancellation, date change, or group size update. This allows us to streamline those changes on your behalf (and the camper’s), and ensures that any charges or refunds are accurately processed.
If you want to share specific information as part of your check-in process (like gate codes, parking instructions, or site preferences), you can send those just like you would with any other guest.
Need something else from the camper that’s missing? Let us know—our Support team can help collect extra details if needed before their stay.
