Hosts are able to leave feedback about a Hipcamper after a completed booking within 14 days. There is a 'double blind' time period where either a Host or Hipcamper review won't post if the other party hasn't reviewed. If both parties leave a review, they will post at the same time.
Other Hosts will be able to read the review when that Hipcamper makes a booking in the future.
Note that this has to be done from your computer or a web browser on your phone - this feature is not yet available in the app.
You can leave a review from these two locations:
- From your message history with that Hipcamper - there will be a button to leave a review on the right-hand side of your messages within 14 days of the end of the booking.
- From your calendar view - click onto the Hipcamper's booking to see the booking details and the button to review the Hipcamper within 14 days of the end of the booking.
๐Was it a great experience hosting your Hipcamper? Leave a note about it to let future Hosts know you enjoyed their visit and why. Sharing positive details will help a future Host feel great about accepting a booking request from that Hipcamper.
๐Were there things the Hipcamper could have done better? Leave a note about any issues that came up during the trip that would make you think twice about accepting a booking from them in the future. Other Hosts can then take that information into account for future bookings.
๐If a Host doesn't leave a review, we will assume that things went smoothly, and there will be a note on the Hipcamper's profile that they had a successful completed booking at the unit in question. No additional information will be included.
We understand that Hosts aren't always able to meet Hipcampers or provide feedback on the experience, and that is not a problem. It is up to you as a Host if you want to leave a review.
