When setting rules for your Property, think about the type of behaviors you want to discourage, as well as safety considerations specific to your Property.
Here’s some examples of rules you might like to set for your Property:
-
Respect the Land & Leave No Trace 🌿
"Nature’s your neighbor, be a good one!"
Take care of the environment like it’s your own backyard. Pack out everything you bring in, and leave it better than you found it.
-
Quiet Hours: Nature's Chill Time 🕙
"Let the crickets do the talking after dark."
Please keep the noise level low from 10pm to 7am so everyone can enjoy the sounds of nature. Crickets > loud conversations.
-
Fireside Fun (and Safety) 🔥
"Keep the flames small and the vibes high!"
Make sure your campfire is always attended, and only burn what’s safe and sustainable. Ready for bed or leaving your site? That fire needs to be dead out. There is a tap and bucket at the site for extinguishing your fire.
-
Firewood: Get Your Fuel on Site 🪵
"If you’re not packing your own, we’ve got the wood!"
Please don’t bring in your own firewood, unless you are from the area, this helps to prevent invasive species. You can grab some from us when you arrive. (If you don’t provide firewood, please indicate that they should bring their own)
-
Pack it In, Pack it Out 🎒
"What you bring in, you take out. Easy as that."
Leave no trace! Be mindful of trash, and leave the spot looking as beautiful as you found it.
-
Pet Pals: On Their Best Behavior 🦮
"Your furry friends are welcome, as long as they follow the golden rule!"
Keep pets on leash and clean up after them, because happy pets mean happy campers!
-
Campground Community: Let’s Keep it Friendly 🤝
"Say hello, but respect everyone’s space!"
Be respectful of your fellow campers, share the love, and keep the space peaceful for all. Loud parties are a no go, but campfire stories? Absolutely.
-
Gate etiquette! 🐄
“Leave it as you find it!”
We are a working farm with livestock so please leave all gates as you find them. If they are closed, shut them behind you. If they are open, leave them open.
-
Stick to the roads 🚗
“Keep the off-roading to designated trails”
Please stick to the marked trails and roads when driving around the property to keep our environment pristine.
-
Stay Safe, Have Fun! 🥾
"If you’re exploring, know your limits."
This place is all about adventure, but safety comes first. Always check in with the host before you head out for hikes or other activities.
-
Don't Bring the Party to the Campground 🧘
"You’re here to camp, not to host a rave!"
Keep it mellow and low key. No loud music, and please respect the space around you. Keep alcohol consumption to a respectful & responsible level.
-
Mind the Wildlife 🦉
"You’re in their house, treat them with respect."
Keep a safe distance from any wildlife you encounter. No feeding or approaching animals. We’re just visitors here, after all!
-
No Smoking 🚭
“If you smoke, it will be assumed you are on fire and the appropriate actions will be taken”
Please don’t smoke on the property. (Or if you allow smoking, please indicate where they can smoke, and where they can dispose of their cigarette butts).
