10–15% of all bookings on Hipcamp come from returning campers revisiting a great Hipcamp they've been to before. A great way to increase your bookings is with a loyalty discount, which, combined with our Scheduled Messaging tool, lets you automatically retarget your previous guest and increase repeat bookings.
First, set up your discount code
- Head to your Dashboard and scroll down until you see the 'Manage discounts' button
- Click on 'Add a discount'
- Add the value you'd like in the field (we recommend 20%)
- Click 'Create Discount' to save your discount
- Copy the discount code to use in the next step.
Next, schedule messages to invite campers back
- Head to your Dashboard and scroll down until you see the 'Scheduled Messages' button
- Click 'Manage scheduled messages'
- Click 'Add message' at the top of the page
- Name your scheduled message and draft your text to past customers. Here is an example template you may wish to copy and use (remember to add your name and code!)
