Hipcamp will put a hold on your funds when you submit your booking request, but we only capture the charge when/if a request to book is accepted. You will see a "pending" charge on your credit card until the booking is accepted.
My booking request was declined/expired
If your booking request was declined or expired, the charge will show up as "pending" on your credit card while the request is pending, and sometimes for up to 7 business days after the request expires or is declined by the Host, although it doesn't typically take that long.
