GETTING A PHOTOGRAPHER
We match eligible Hosts with professional photographers within a 2 hour drive and offer this service at a subsidized rate of $100-150 depending on the quote provided. On average, Hosts with pro photos see 34% more bookings and 217% more clicks in search!
There’s no upfront cost—just $100-150 taken from your future payouts, which most Hosts pay off in two bookings. Our professional photographers are also campers and they have experience staging and shooting campsites, farms, and glamping structures.
After you’ve signed up for the program, a photographer will reach out to you and book their shoot based on your current calendar availability. Their booking will block your calendar for one night in order to prevent campers from being present at that site on shoot day. Note: The photographer will not be charged and you will not be paid out.
DURING THE SHOOT
Since the photographer is often traveling a distance to your location, they will likely stay overnight in order to be on site during the best light. Additionally staying overnight enables them to write you a review which adds further value to your listing.
You can expect the photographer to stage the site for photos and they might bring friends along to act as models. We encourage photographers to include people enjoying the space in their photos whenever possible.
AFTER THE SHOOT
Within one week, 15 minimum photos will be uploaded to your Hipcamp and curated by our team. At that point, we will deduct the amount quoted out of your next payout. Over 80% of Hosts cover the fee within 2 bookings.
