Pausing or Deactivating
Pausing your site will keep it live on Hipcamp, but no Hipcampers will be able to make a booking, as your calendar will be closed off.
Deactivating your site will completely remove it from Hipcamp, but you will be able to bring it back in the future if you choose to do so.
You can also block days on your calendar if you would like to block specific dates from receiving bookings.
Follow these steps to choose what is right for you:
- Head to your Property page or the Property tab on the app
- Click on Sites
- Click on the site you would like to edit
- Click on Site status
- Select the option you would like to change to
- If you Pause you can choose how long you would like to be paused for
- You can choose to deactivate by selecting the Deactivate option
- Click Save to save your changes
Reactivating your site:
When you're ready to re-open your Hipcamp, you can do so by following these steps:
- Head to your Property page or the Property tab on the app
- Under Sites click on the site you are wanting to change the status of
- Click on Site status
- Select Open to reopen your site
- Click Save
- Your site will be immediately reactivated
