After notifications are on, fine tune your notification settings in the Hipcamp app
iPhone Instructions
Open your iPhone’s Setting App - it looks like this:
Tap the Notifications option in the second group of settings. This has a red icon with a white bell:
Scroll further down on your Notifications settings and tap 'Hipcamp' – every app on your iPhone has it’s own notification settings.
Once you’re there, toggle the ‘Allow Notifications’ switch to On.
You can then choose your alert preferences for the Hipcamp App. By default all three alert types are enabled. We recommend that you leave them all checked to get clear notifications from the Hipcamp app.
Android instructions
There are two main ways to do this on your Android phone:
1. In the Settings App
Open your device’s Settings. Each Android smartphone has a slightly different user interface but no matter the layout, you’ll find the Settings Icon on the Apps Screen. On your Home Screen, swipe up to access the Apps screen:
Tap Notifications > App Settings > Find the Hipcamp App > Tap the Notifications setting to On
2. On a Notification
Navigate to your notifications by swiping down from the top of your screen.
Hold and touch the notification, then tap Settings.
You can then allow notifications from that view.
