How do I sync my Hipcamp calendar with my Cloudbeds MyAllocator calendars?

Hipcamp now integrates with Cloudbeds! This new API integration means that if you're using Cloudbeds to manage your campground or RV park, you can now sync your availability, pricing, and bookings with Hipcamp in real time.

If you would like to integrate your Listing with Cloudbeds, please reach out to the Hipcamp integration team at campgrounds@hipcamp.com to receive your Hotel Id and Password.

Connecting Hipcamp in Cloudbeds

  1. On the Cloudbeds Dashboard, open the right tab and click on “Distribution”

  2. Click on “Discover” and search for “Hipcamp”

  3. After clicking, you will be brought to the Channel Setup screen. Click button “Enable Channel”

  4. Enter the Hotel Id and Password provided by Hipcamp and click “Continue”

  5. The next screen is mapping rooms between CloudBeds and Hipcamp. On the left are rooms in CloudBeds. On the right are dropdowns which contain rooms that have been set up on Hipcamp. Select the appropriate room to match the room in CloudBeds. Once the mapping has been completed, click “Continue”.


  6. The next screen is the Rate Plan Mapping. Select the rate plan to sync with Hipcamp (API) channel. Once the mapping has been completed, click “Continue”.

  7. The next screen is the Base Rate Adjustment. NOTE: Hipcamp encourages your rates to be the same (or lower) as they are on your own website or other booking channels. You are encouraged to leave all base Rate Adjustments at 0.

  8. Channel setup is now complete.

Verifying Hipcamp (API) Channel is Enabled in Cloudbeds

After completing the above steps:

Click on “Distribution”, then “Channels” and you should see the channel “Hipcamp (API)” has a status on “Enabled”.

 

Connecting Hipcamp in MyAllocator

  1. On the MyAllocator account, go to “Manage” then click on “Channels”

  1. Click on “Add Channel”
  1. A list of Channels will be presented. Look for channel “Hipcamp (API)” and click to select “Hipcamp (API)”.

  1. Upon selection, a screen will appear requiring Hotel Id and Password. Enter the fields provided by Hipcamp and click “Next”

  1. The next screen is mapping rooms between MyAllocator and Hipcamp. On the left are rooms in MyAllocator. On the right are dropdowns which contain rooms that have been set up on Hipcamp. Select the appropriate room to match the room in MyAllocator.

  2. Once the mapping has been completed, click “Next”.
  1. Next screen is the Base Rate Adjustment. 

NOTE: Hipcamp encourages your rates to be the same (or lower) as they are on your own website or other booking channels. You are encouraged to leave all base Rate Adjustments at 0.

9. Channel setup is now complete. Leave the checkbox “Send full refresh to Hipcamp (API)” selected then click “Back to Overview” to initiate ARI data to be sent to Hipcamp.

If the checkbox was selected when “Back to Overview” was clicked, this screen will show to confirm full refresh.

 

Verifying Hipcamp (API) Channel is Enabled in MyAllocator

To confirm that the “Hipcamp (API)” channel has been configured correctly, it should say “Setup Completed” like the screenshot below.
