Each assignment consists of one land, and that property will have at least one site, sometimes more. The minimum requirement # of photos is 15 regardless of how many sites there are, and payment is the same even if there is more than 1 site.
If a land has more than 1 site, please fully shoot the site you have booked as well as shoot at least one cover photo for the remaining sites. For example, if the land has six sites, you can shoot 10 photos of the site you booked plus 1 cover photo of each remaining site, to total the required 15 minimum. You are not required to do this for lands with more than 6 sites, so if you find yourself in that situation, please ask the Host which sites they'd like to prioritize.
What if the Host asks me to shoot all sites and they have more than six? You can kindly explain to them that you are not paid to do that, and direct them to this FAQ which explains it.
How should I upload photos of more than one site? The best option is to upload relevant site photos to the actual site page itself. Each site page has a "Add Photos" button at the top where you can do this. You could also caption the images such as "Cabin A" and "Cabin B" per the site names to help our curator figure out where the photos should go. Either way, please make it clear!
Tips on organizing your photos of multiple sites from a fellow photographer:
- If sites are numbered, try to include the site number sign in the photo.
- When you import the photos to your computer rename each file to the site number or name. This makes for a clean experience in Finder and will be easy to reference and upload.
- Go to the land page and then tab over every site you photographed into a new tab. Go through each tab and upload your relevant photos from my cleaned up Finder view.
