You will receive an email after your trip has concluded asking for a review and photos- please upload 15-20 edited photos during the review flow within 3 days of returning from your trip. You can also upload photos directly to various site pages within a land via the "add photos" button at the top of site pages. This is especially handy if you have photos of more than 1 site at a land.
Run through the following checklist before uploading your photos:
- Make careful selections to keep your upload under 30 photos
- Style check: are your photos warm, true to life, and vibrant? Check our style guide and shot list to make sure your photos match up with our guidelines. ✨
- Bonus: a portrait of your Host and a couple verticals of the site are much appreciated!
As long as you're logged into your photographer account, you should be able to upload 100 photos at a time. Each photo should be under 10MB.
You'll also get to write captions for each photo. We love learning more about the site this way. Try to answer any questions the Hipcamper might have about the photo (what are they looking at? Where is this in relation to the site? Is this from a public park nearby?)
Please note, you have 3 days after your trip to upload your photos. If for some reason you aren’t able to upload your photos in this window due to an extenuating circumstance, please contact the Hipcamp Support team (click here).
Don’t worry about organizing your photos—our photo curator will do that once you’ve uploaded everything.
When you're done, follow our steps to submit an invoice via PayPal.
