Hipcamp uses publicly available information to create listings for campgrounds that aren’t yet verified on our platform. This includes details like your property’s name, address, description, and images—typically found on your website, public directories, or reservation platforms.
We do this to provide campers with comprehensive travel information and help them discover places to stay in high-demand areas. It also helps campground owners grow their business by reaching new guests. If your campground is searchable online, we likely found you there.
We take accuracy seriously, and only include the most essential details—such as a general description, images, and your regular nightly pricing.
If anything in your listing needs updating, you can verify your listing to take full control—or contact our Support team and we’ll help you make changes.
