If your Host cancels the day of the assignment or they are not ready for your shoot upon arrival, we will pay you 50% of the assignment to cover the inconvenience. You can invoice us for 50% of the amount with a note about the Host cancelling or the property not being ready upon arrival. Please also email us at support@hipcamp.com so we can follow up with the Host.
NOTE: Before departing for any assignment at all, we require that you received some form of contact, text or verbal confirmation from the Host- not just the automated booking confirmation email. If you don’t hear anything from the Host and your assignment is coming up, please reach out to support@hipcamp.com. Don’t go on the assignment unless you hear back — this probably means that the Host is not prepared for or aware of your arrival.
