We will pay you 50% of the assignment if your Host cancels within 24 hours of check in time. Please email support@hipcamp.com and we'll sort it out for you.
Before departing for an assignment at all, we require that you’ve received some form of contact and confirmation from the Host. If you don’t hear anything from the Host and your assignment is coming up, please contact support@hipcamp.com, and don’t go on the assignment unless you hear back — this probably means that the Host is not prepared for or aware of your arrival.
Also, make sure to give more than 1 day's notice when booking - less than that is not enough time for the Host to prepare.
