COVID-19 Business Check-in Information
Hipcamp strongly recommends all hosts adhere to state-based COVID-19 Safety requirements and protocols. COVID-19 Safety requirements will differ across all states and territories and we recommend all hosts familiarise themselves and adhere to local COVID-19 safety standards.
COVID Safe Business Check-in Registration
All States and Territories in Australia have contact tracing and registration requirements for patrons entering a business premises, venues, or workplaces to track the potential spread of the Covid-19 virus and keep communities safe.
Businesses are required to download state based COVID-19 tracing apps and register their business details with relevant state departments.
These apps are free and available for download from relevant state government departments. State and territory governments will provide all corresponding material including QR Codes, “How to” guides and information and promotion material to make sure businesses are set-up correctly to manage the check-in process.
Check-in requirements for businesses vary across jurisdictions and we strongly encourage hosts to understand their obligations and comply with state and territory check-in processes.
Where digital check-in is not available, paper recording check-in forms can be used and should still be provided to the relevant agency.
